Everyone experiences anxiety from time to time, but do you feel your anxiety is out of control and limiting your life?
I’ve worked with hundreds of cases of anxiety and specialize in helping you overcome anxiety-related issues. When this client contacted me, they had already been off work for several weeks:
“I have really bad anxiety issues and I’m just not coping. I’m getting panic attacks when I think about going back to work. It sounds stupid but I’m actually sick with worry all the time”.
This type of anxiety is really common. The problem is the anxiety fires up and you react automatically before you’re even consciously aware it’s happening. When you become aware, it’s too late – you’re already busy trying to avoid it – and that can feel impossible to change.
Stop anxiety in its tracks
When you work with me, I show you how to stop the anxiety firing up and explain why and how this works. After addressing the underlying fears that were driving anxiety and physical symptoms, this client successfully returned to work:
“What a difference a week makes! I highly recommend this for anyone suffering from phobias, anxiety or panic attacks”
For some people, difficult relationships and a lack of support can create anxiety that is relentless and becomes overwhelming:
“I have been trying to overcome the way I feel for quite a while. I have lots of family issues going on, including bullying. I feel that I am struggling to deal with basic things and I’m really low. It’s interfering with everything I do or think”.
This client realized they were struggling and reached out for help. We explored healthy ways of dealing with problems including changing behaviour and emotional responses in the face of bullying from others. Realizing that although they couldn’t change other people, they could change their own reaction, this client finished therapy feeling empowered with a new sense of control:
“I just want to say thank you for today and for all the work we’ve done together. I feel good despite all the stuff going on. I actually really feel in control and just good. Our session today really helped give me the reassurance to go away and deal with things in a calm way, so I’ve come away feeling strong and balanced and I just wanted to say thanks”
Learn how to feel comfortable and calm
“Well, this morning I was calm, relaxed and everyone benefitted from it, not just me. I can’t believe I feel so different. Thank you so much”
Perhaps you suffer from panic attacks, general anxiety disorder or OCD? To others, your feelings may be hard to understand and even seem silly – but to you the sufferer they are very real. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be like this!
“Just to say – Thank you for your help. I have just recently accepted a new job. Your help and guidance were invaluable in making the process enjoyable and not daunting”
The modern techniques I use provide fast and effective relief
I can work with any anxiety-related issue which has a psychological or behavioural base. If you feel anxious all the time, for several weeks or if it feels like your anxiety is taking over your life, then it’s a good idea to ask for professional help. I recommend that you have a health check with your GP as anxiety can be a symptom of a physical disorder. Once this is ruled out, we can work together on the psychological issues that are creating the problem.
